dinner last friday:
the fish and chips from blackbird. it’s not the greatest fish and chips of my life (chips > fish > slaw), but after a long day of hoping my house wasn’t blown away by a tornado, it was so, so good.
dinner last week:
this chicken wing recipe has changed everything.
baked chicken wings with homemade barbecue sauce (ketchup, brown sugar, worcestershire, cider vinegar, assorted spices), with wasabi duchess potatoes.
breakfast on saturday:
thinly sliced red potatoes and an egg, cooked in a mixture of chive olive oil and canola.
dinner tonight:
cold soba salad with raw daikon, cabbage and cucumber, garnished with laver (kim, or nori, for you asian people) and surimi.
the sauce is some unmeasured mixture of miso, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and sambal oelek. ate it with braised bok choy. feeling really good about it.
